Imagine yourself being photographed in a stunning red flying dress, against the backdrop of Paris’s most iconic landmarks.
What to Expect
We could start at one of Paris’s renowned locations, such as the Eiffel Tower or the Louvre. The Louvre is my preference as we have more space and fewer people waiting around to capture their photos with the Tower! I always recommended we schedule the shoot to begin fairly early morning to capture the best natural light and avoid crowds however the Louvre doesn’t necessarily have to be before 8 am.
The Dress
The long, flowing gown is made from a lightweight satiny fabric and when the dress catches the wind or is expertly tossed, it creates a beautiful, dynamic effect. Bear in mind for the true flying effect it is necessary to have an assistant or friend there to help out! The running away effect with the dress billowing behind requires a little dexterity and flat shoes. The goal is to create images that look natural and effortless as if you’re part of a fairy tale.
The Experience
You may wish to book professional hair and makeup, so you look and feel your best or you may be fully capable of doing your own. Either way suits me just fine.
During the shoot, I’ll guide you through various poses and movements to highlight the dress’s flowing qualities. It is fun to play around with and there is usually a lot of laughing. I may repeatedly ask you to run away from me “just one more time”… However, the more committed we BOTH are to getting that epic shot the more likely we are to capture it 🙂
After the Shoot
Once we’ve captured the magic, I’ll carefully select and edit the best shots to ensure they’re polished and visually stunning. You’ll receive a gallery of images with light edits to choose your favourites, with the knowledge that I can potentially combine 2 photos eg. of the best flying dress action combined with the best pose or expression from you.
