Imagine yourself being photographed in a stunning red flying dress, against the backdrop of Paris’s most iconic landmarks.
The Flying Dress Experience
Two Modes
Mode 1 — Running Away: You run while the dress billows behind you. Flat shoes and a little dexterity are all you need. The goal is images that feel natural and effortless, like a scene from a fairy tale.
Mode 2 — Traditional Flying Dress: The skirt appears to blow in the wind, but it needs an assistant to really make it soar. A partner or friend works perfectly, or I can arrange one for an additional €50/hour.
The Dress
The long, flowing gown is a lightweight satin that catches beautifully in motion. The top is infinity-style with multiple tie options (halterneck, strapless, etc.), and the drawstring waist fits a wide range of sizes. A strapless nude or red bra works well underneath; if you’re self-conscious about your belly, shapewear is your friend.
The Experience
This shoot is active and physical, and you’ll be hands-on creating the movement. I’ll keep shooting until I’m 100% confident we have our hero shots. Some clients feel a little nervous, though they shake off any nerves within minutes. Don’t hesitate to share any big feelings. Open communication makes for the best photos!
I’ll guide you through poses and movements to bring the dress to life. There’s usually a lot of laughing involved, and yes, I will ask you to run away from me “just one more time.” The more committed we both are to that epic shot, the more likely we are to get it.
Professional hair and makeup is entirely your call — either way works for me.
Locations
We can start at an iconic Paris landmark — the Eiffel Tower or the Louvre. I prefer the Louvre: more space, fewer tourists jostling for their own shots. I always recommend an early start for the best natural light and thinner crowds, though the Louvre is a little more forgiving — no need to be there before 8am.
After the Shoot
I’ll carefully select and edit the best images into a polished gallery for you to choose your favourites. I can also composite two shots — for example, the best flying dress action paired with your best expression — so nothing great gets left on the table.
