How it Works
1. Book your Photoshoot Date
Please fill out the contact form below with your preferred dates and any relevant details, and I will respond promptly to confirm my availability and arrange a time for our consultation call.
2. The Consultation Call
During a video or phone call, you’ll have the opportunity to ask any questions and it’s a great way for us to connect before your shoot. We’ll discuss all the details and explore location options, wardrobe ideas, and the narrative you wish your images to convey. This step is important for me so that I can make sure your Paris photoshoot captures your distinct style and personality.
3. Photoshoot Day
We’ll meet at your chosen starting location in Paris. Expect a mix of iconic Parisian landmarks and hidden gems as our backdrop, with plenty of space for spontaneity and fun.
You may feel nervous or excited but I promise you the butterflies won’t last long… I’ll guide you through poses and moments that feel natural and authentic and soon you will forget about anything else and embrace the experience. My goal is to make the session relaxed, empowering, and most of all fun! — whether it’s your first photoshoot or your tenth.
4. Image Selection
After the session, you’ll receive a preview gallery to view your images and this is the moment to choose the photos that speak to you most. Narrowing down your photos to the very best is incredibly rewarding and once you have chosen your top 12,18 or 24 you will appreciate the effort you went to during your photoshoot even more.
If you’d like guidance in your selection, we’ll schedule a time to review them together.
5.Retouching and Delivery
Retouching is included with all of my photoshoots and this can mean anything from rubbish on the ground, to wardrobe malfunctions to skin smoothing.
Once I have completed the final touch-ups, your images will be ready for download through the online gallery, allowing you to easily share your photos with loved ones or showcase them on social media as treasured keepsakes.
If you are interested in printed artwork or albums, I offer a curated selection of beautiful options in my online store. I would be delighted to assist you in choosing pieces that truly bring your memories to life and help create a lasting connection to your experience in Paris.

FAQs
What time does the photo shoot start?
This largely depends on where you would like to have your photoshoot - the time of year, and the weather!Â
The best time for photo shoots at the Trocadero (pictured) is early morning. Mornings are preferable as fewer tourists in the area will make our time together more enjoyable and easier to capture those epic moments! However, early morning shoots there towards the end of the year are difficult because in Winter sunrise is later and therefore it's more likely there will also be many more tourists! With this in mind, we can make it happen!
If you are not a morning person and not interested in the Trocadero, later in the day works though there will be some locations that are still busy
Ave de Camoens, later morning light is better though if you are shy, this is going to be busy area too.
The rest of Paris is any time at all! Louvre is great all day unless you want the Pyramids too.
In any case, we will work out the perfect starting time together before our photoshoot.
What should I wear?
Any photoshoot package you book with me will include the option to have multiple outfit changes—the sky is the limit here! Bring as many outfits as you’d like, as long as you bear in mind the time allotment. As far as specifics, couples usually aim to match in some regard. You don’t have to wear identical outfits but could wear complimentary colours or tones, like both wear jewel tones or neutrals. Remember not to wear anything too busy or fussy—this can distract from the photo.
For women, you can’t go wrong with a flowy dress with lots of movement. If you want to wear heels, I recommend bringing a pair of flats or sandals to walk between locations. Remember, Paris is an old city, so many of the streets are cobblestone, which is not very heel-friendly! For guys, semi-formal or plain slacks and a button-down shirt always looks great.
If you book my VIP experience or above, you also get access to my studio wardrobe. This is a collection of gorgeous gowns, cocktail dresses, formal wear, and accessories. I have a range of sizes to fit my clientele. You can see a bit of what I have available by flipping through some of my photos, and you can learn more in my blog post about my Studio Wardrobe.
If you want, we can also utilize some props for the photos! Think about what might best symbolize your relationship, or if you want to do some especially Parisian props like berets or baguettes. Remember to have fun with it, as this couple did with their picnic-themed Paris photo shoot.
Pre-Shoot Communication
I value communication highly when I’m booking a photo shoot, whether it’s a solo shoot, one with a couple, or with a family. We can try to organise a video or audio chat before the date of your scheduled shoot so we can talk through your vision and goals for the session however if you prefer to stick with emails that is fine too! Anything works as long as we get an open communication channel established!
Hair and Makeup
I highly suggest you consider a hair and makeup professional to assist with your look before the shoot. Getting professionally “done up” can be an extremely rewarding experience, and I find it helps people feel extra confident in front of the camera! If you go for a professional hair and makeup artist, keep in mind they average around €250. Please add up to 90 minutes to allow for time for this appointment.
What if it rains on the day?
There are covered areas near the Eiffel Tower and the Louvre and I have never cancelled due to rain. I am however flexible and if it is possible for both of us I am happy to reschedule to a later time or even another day.
If you're not afraid of getting a little damp, we can use the weather as part of the narrative with umbrellas and trench coats as a cute accessory.
November '23 was the rainiest month since I started photographing clients in Paris and two of my shoots were in the wildest weather possible. Hannah's is one of them.
Transportation on Your Photo Shoot Day
Taxis may not always be readily available the day of in the city. Rather than relying on the increasingly unreliable UBER, I recommend downloading the French-based Taxis G7 or hiring a private driver to accompany us throughout the photo shoot. A private driver or a friend driving can also provide some cover for you if it rains or you need to make a quick change!
Your final Photos
Within 7-21 days after the shoot, I will send you a gallery of photos where you can choose your favourite photos. I will then do any retouching required. I include light retouching with all my photoshoots.
We can discuss this further during the booking process.
