Who says Flash is just for the paparazzi? This after-dark adventure began just before sunset, at the iconic Immeuble Lavirotte on Avenue Rapp making a perfect Parisian Art Nouveau statement.
I decided to embrace the bold and trendy on-camera flash, paired with some off-camera magic. Though some of these shots are natural light and for others, you can probably tell where I played around with the flash.
We wrapped up strolling along the Seine near Pont d’Iéna. Dramatic hard light, dreamy shutter drag light trails of the Eiffel Tower squiggling in the background combined with ambient light available from the floodlights they kindly installed on the embankment!
A little edgy, a little whimsical— but do the lights steal the show?!
