Fi is no stranger to Paris and has been visiting regularly since her early 20s. And even though she is not a huge fan of having her photo taken she wanted to book her own private photoshoot to document the memory of a sunny afternoon wandering through her favourite quartiers of Paris.
We were so lucky to have this odd day of sunshine and warmth on the cusp of Winter to Spring. It’s pretty typical to have extremely mixed weather at this time of the year in Paris, and March 2024 was no different!
Fi is a professional horticulturist so one of our main aims was to find the famouns magnolia trees blooming around Palais Royal and the other areas of the 1st arrondisement. The lighter coloured flowers were close to Eglise St Eustache and the darker ones in the gardens of Palais Royal.
Then we explored the back streets eventually finding ourselves at Galerie Vivienne where Fi purchased some some postcards from the antique book seller.
Finally, we walked over the river to visit Les Bouquinistes and finished our afternoon with a drink in a classic French bar.
